Product Description
Pile weatherstripping is specifically designed for use on commercial aluminum doors. The base of the weatherstrip is manufactured from solid polypropylene which allows it to maintain it's structure for many years inside your storefront door. This reduces the likelihood of the base from binding or stretching when installed on your storefront door's stile. On the backside is a strong adhesive perfect for sticking to aluminum storefront doors or frames.

How to replacement?
Step1: Carefully Measure The Existing Pile Weatherstripping
1-1: Measure Backing Width, using a ruler or tape measure carefully measure the backing width of the weatherstripping. This is the width of the plastic base portion of the weatherstripping. This is the most important measurement.
1-2: Measure The Pile Height, to measure the pile height, measure from the base of the pile weatherstripping to the top of the brush pile.
Step 2: Prepare Proper Pile Weatherstripping
Step 3: Install Pile Weatherstripping
Carefully remove all existing pile weatherstripping. Be sure you have looked for all parts of the channel that were staked and you have returned them back to normal form, so the pile weatherstripping backing will be able to slide in or out of the channel easily. Once all existing pile weatherstripping has been removed, slide in the new pile weatherstripping. Using a pair of scissors, carefully cut the pile weatherstripping to the proper length so that if fits the entire height of the door. Then use a screw driver and hammer to punch or stake the weatherstripping at the bottom and top of the door stile. Check that the pile weatherstripping cannot slide out.
